Tuwon Madara (milk candy)

Tuwon Madara is a type of snack popularly known in northern Nigeria. It is mostly made of powdered milk. It is often loved by everyone, especially women and kids. In this article, I will be teaching you how to make Tuwon Madara in 8 simple steps.

It can also be called Alawar Madara in Hausa or Milk Candy in English. The delicacy is made almost the same way as Albishir.

It is important to note that Tuwon Madara can only be made with powdered milk and that condensed milk cannot be a substitute. However, any type of powdered milk will do just fine.

Without wasting any time, let’s get started!

STEP 6: Cover it with another piece of nylon or foil paper.
